Applying to an Ontario University
- Research
your program choices. Use www.electronicinfo.ca
to view program availability, admission requirements, entry points, and
addition/supplementary application materials.
- Log on
to the www.ouac.on.ca website.
- Choose
“Undergraduate Applications” from the toolbar
- Choose
“Current year high school students
- 101”
- Click
on “COMPASS account” and log in using the unique student number and PIN
provided to you by Student Services
- Click
on “Select Programs” – You can choose a university by program,
geographical location, or by name.
- Select
the desired program and “add to knapsack”
- Once
you have filled your “knapsack” with the desired programs (three are
included with the basic application fee, each additional choice incurs a
supplementary fee), you can work across the toolbar at the top of the
page, beginning with “program choices.”
- There
are six steps to this part of the application:
- Complete
you program choices
- Rank
your choices in order of preference
- Verify
and Edit your personal information
- Verify
and Edit your address information
- Verify
your academic information, including completed courses and grades, and
current and projected courses.
- Submit
- Once
you have submitted, you will be asked to choose a method of payment.
- Please
remember that the application is not complete until fees have been
received by OUAC.
- You
can review and/or change your application after a short processing
interval.
